????The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) recently approved Qingdao West Coast New Area to build pilot smart industry park. NDRC is reported to select three new high-tech zones, each of which is respectively in eastern, middle and western China, to build manufacturing smart industry park. Two of them are confirmed already, the only one in eastern China is Qingdao economic and tech development zone, and the other is Chongqing Bishan new high-tech zone.
????According to the action plan, the Qingdao Economic and Tech Development Zone will rely on key enterprises and universities, scientific research institutes to build industry internet, cloud computing, big data public service platform, and an integrated production system that covers all parts, including design, R&D, manufacturing, sales, logistics and recycling. The park is going to develop new manufacturing modes, such as cyber synergic manufacturing, service-oriented manufacturing to build a smart industry park linking all parts of industry chain, including R&D, production, quality control, process management and operation service. The park will take a leading role in forming new mode and new industry, and explore to raise national or international standards for smart industry.
????The pilot park aims to promote smart manufacturing, building smart platform, boosting international smart industry cooperation and innovating smart industry business mode. The new zone will boost building of smart industry international cooperation pilot zone, smart manufacturing software information synergic model zone, marine engineering smart manufacturing model zone, electric household appliance smart manufacturing model zone, rubber tire smart manufacturing zone. The city will quicken the pace of 40 smart manufacture projects, including marine engineering smart key device development, industry robot key parts development and integration, new type smart terminal development and operation, electric household smart system integration standard research, industry R&D design platform.
