| ????The Qingdao new airport terminal station has started to attract business recently. According to the plan, the Qingdao Airport Group is going to attract business this May, October, and next March. International famous brands, featured retail, branded catering, cultural experience, recreation and leisure are all included. Business-attraction will be completed in the 1st half of 2018, and shop decoration will be completed at the end of 2018, which can ensure all shops open to receive passengers when the airport opens.
The concentrated business zone is the core part of overall business plan of the new airport terminal. The planned business area is about 40,000sqm, accounting for 8.5% of the total of all terminal station. In order to provide more comfortable trip experiences, the terminal also plans new type experience business space and recreation and leisure space. Among them catering and retailing is about 28,000sqm, recreational and service area are about 12,000sqm, with about 260 shops in plan. The comprehensive transportation exchange center next to the terminal station also plans over 10,000sqm business area.
????The Qingdao new airport plans to build 4 concentrated business zones; Food Street, Gift Street, International Street and Trade Street are 4 main business areas. They will establish in all areas based on travel routes of passengers to meet their diverse demands such as dining, shopping, leisure, and entertainment.
