????Xiaoyushan Hill is one of the best places for tourists to enjoy the red tiles, green trees, blue sea and sky in Qingdao. However, with the sea-viewing attractions built in Huangdao District and Laoshan District of Qingdao being completed, the glory and title, "the best sea-viewing place" that used to belong to Xiaoyushan Hill will be taken by the new attractions.

????According to the project leader of Urban Construction Bureau in Huangdao District, Phoenix Island coastal walk lane and landscape project starts from the wooden plank road in Silver Sands Beach in the west to the north of Ganshuiwan in the east. The total length is 11.2 km and it covers a total area of ??71 hectares. The landscape project that will start construction soon will build multi-functional landscape leisure nodes such as sea-viewing, cliff adventure, reef fishing and casual dining. Coastal walk lane and sea-viewing platform will be built in areas where cliffs are salient by taking advantage of the surrounding woodlands combined with the crosswalk in East Island Road. The original fishermen wharf will be transformed into a recreational zone where visitors can enjoy fishery customs and experience fishermen’s lifestyle. In sea-viewing corridor, landscape project will recover the seagrass house that is exclusive in Jiaodong to demonstrate the original life and marine culture in Qingdao, creating “the Oriental Hawaii".

????Meanwhile, Mt. Laoshan, which bears the name “No 1 coastal mountain”, has also made great efforts to attract more tourists. Recently, the transformation of Taiqing Square in Taiqing Palace on Laoshan Mountain is in full swing, the most important project is to build a pavilion for tourists to watch the sea. Trees in the south of Taiqing Square embrace the ancient-style pavilion; it is a stone pavilion with fake three layers’ double eaves. When completed, tourists can stand in the pavilion appreciating the beauty of the mountain and sea. It will be built in an architecture style originated from the Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty, which serves as an integral whole with the architecture style in Taiqing Palace. It is 12.99 meters high, covering an area of ??120 square meters. The pavilion will be completed and will serve as a new landmark on Laoshan Mountain before May 1st.
